I Set Out to Create a Video That Visualizes the Inspiration I Draw From Nature

Before the snow hit Columbus, I went on a hike to clear my head and reflect on a recent job interview.

What started as a simple walk—no plan, no pressure—slowly turned into something more meaningful. Being out in nature has always helped me reset, observe, and reconnect with why I create in the first place. The textures, the movement, the quiet moments between sounds—it all reminded me that inspiration doesn’t have to be forced. Sometimes it just shows up when you give yourself space.

That hike sparked the idea for a new project.

I decided to keep things simple and shoot everything on my iPhone. No crew. No complicated setup. Just intention. The goal wasn’t perfection—it was honesty. I wanted to create a piece that clearly introduces who I am, how I think, and the kind of work I care about making.

“Tell Me About Yourself” became a short, personal look at my creative approach and background across video production, motion design, visual effects, and 3D. At its core, it’s about visualizing the inspiration I find in nature, while exploring thoughtful execution and building story-driven work that connects with people and delivers real impact.

This project was a reminder that creativity doesn’t always come from pushing harder—it often comes from slowing down, paying attention, and trusting your instincts.

What do you think about my new microfilm? feel free to reach out and let me know!
If you’re building something meaningful and need a creative partner who blends artistry with technical fluency, I’d love to connect.

Thanks for following along.
