“Realm of Creation” is an immersive adventure fantasy short film, plunging its protagonist—an intrepid explorer—into a virtual world meticulously crafted with Unreal Engine. I wrote this script to explore the energy that holds me back from being creative. I thought, what if those forces were creatures that were literally holding me back? And what could I do to defeat them?
The film was shot with a green drop cloth in my garage, and the compositing was all done inside Unrteal Engine. The virtual set was developed using Blender and Unreal Engine. It was a great experience collaborating with the actors and the musician who developed an original film score for this film.
