In 2021, I took the plunge and learned Unreal Engine. While working on 3D motion graphics for corporate and commercial projects, I kept hearing about Unreal Engine and wanted to see what it could really do. So I dove in headfirst.
What started as late-night experimentation quickly turned into full-scale virtual sets, real-time rendering, compositing live-action footage, and building immersive digital worlds from scratch.

Through persistence—and a lot of showing what I could do—I earned access to a green screen studio, LED walls, and tracking cameras. That opportunity opened the door to producing fully realized virtual production shoots, something I had only dreamed about a year earlier. I’m still incredibly grateful for that chance to learn, create, and collaborate at such a high level.
Leading Complex Teams
Guiding these shoots meant working side by side with cinematographers, studio crew, 3D artists, engineers, and producers, all coming together around one shared vision. I wasn’t just creating visuals—I was leading teams through complex workflows and helping ideas come to life.
Lessons in Creativity and Collaboration
This experience reminded me why I love this field. It taught me how creativity, technology, and teamwork can combine to build something bigger than any one person could do alone.
I’m excited to bring that same curiosity, collaboration, and creative leadership into new full-time opportunities, where I can continue pushing boundaries and producing work that inspires.
