Between Seconds — Official Trailer Release
I’m proud to finally share the first official trailer for Between Seconds — a short film that has been years in the making. This project began as a deeply personal exploration of connection, time, and the fragile moments that define us. What started as an abstract idea slowly evolved into something much larger — both technically and emotionally — than I could have imagined.

The Story
At its core, Between Seconds follows two characters — Paul and Eva — trapped inside the Infinite Chamber, a surreal and timeless void. As they struggle to understand their confinement, they’re forced to confront the inner battles that led them there: fear, regret, control, faith, and the secrets we all keep hidden.
This story is about the pressures we face and the ways those pressures can isolate us. But it’s also about the courage to open up — to connect with someone else even when it feels impossible. In that sense, Between Seconds mirrors the quiet battles we all face between moments of chaos and calm, doubt and belief, stillness and movement.
The Production
Between Seconds was shot entirely on GreenScreen using Unreal Engine and virtual production techniques. By merging live-action performances with a fully digital environment, we were able to create the Infinite Chamber — an endless, surreal space where the smallest human interactions carry immense emotional weight.
For an independent production, this approach was both a necessity and an opportunity. Virtual production allowed us to build a world that would have been impossible to create practically, while still keeping the story grounded in performance and emotion. Every shot, lighting choice, and piece of sound design was crafted to enhance the tension and intimacy of the world.
The Team
A film like this doesn’t happen alone. I was fortunate to collaborate with an incredible team of artists and technicians who brought this vision to life. From the performances by Paul Stelzer and Ashlee Lawhorn, to the cinematography by Alberto Viglietta, to the haunting original score by Justin Edward (HVMANSHIELD) — every contribution elevated the project far beyond what I could have achieved on my own.
The Message
Between Seconds explores themes of stress, pressure, faith, secrets, and control, but ultimately, it’s a story about connection — about finding meaning in the spaces between moments. My hope is that this film leaves viewers reflecting on their own relationship with time, vulnerability, and the people who help them rediscover purpose when things feel still.
